Board Director
Edwin oversees the purchasing, administration and aviation financial matters of GFH.
As a Senior Manager over multiple years for Royal Brunei Airlines, he was the Inventory Controller, Supplies Manager and subsequently the Projects/Contract Manager.
Edwin is highly experienced in procurement of commodities, aircraft spares, engine components and ground support parts and tooling, and aircraft maintenance (MRO) planning.
He was past Chairman of the Association of Asia Pacific Airlines (AAPA) Materials Working Group and is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (MCIPS), Chartered Institute of Transport and Logistics (MILT) and Member of the Malaysian Materials Institute of Purchasing Management.

GFH’s Chief Engineer
Bob Madden is a Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) trained licensed engineer; with many years of military and civilian aviation experience, ranging from working in sophisticated workshops to operating in extreme conditions in dangerous countries. Bob’s major focus is in working with Hercules C130 and other type of heavy cargo aircraft.
He sources, inspects and assists GFH in aircraft acquisitions, as the ILyushin 76 cargo jet, which the Board has identified as the most suitable for its operations.
He overseers the maintenance, operations, loading, flight missions and all things aviation related from GFH’s Aviation Division. Learn more about Bob here
Adam Newton
Board Director
Adam holds dual Australian and US citizenship. He holds United States FAA helicopter license and an Australian CASA fixed wing license. A large part of his flight experience is in pipeline inspection and aerial photography throughout the Delta in the US states of Tennessee, Arkansas and Mississippi.
Adam’s hand’s-on approach allows him to work with the GFH operational team to reach the goals in the strategic plan laid out by the Board. He has played a key role in the establishment of the Asia Office.
Interests are in fitness training and is a musician (piano).
Daniel W. Lund PhD, MBA, BA
Board Director
Professor Daniel W. Lund is a global scholar, business strategist, entrepreneur, and author. He is a leader in transforming business schools in developing countries to achieve international organizational and program standards. He has served in business school deanships in China, Saudi Arabia, the Solomon Islands, and Pakistan and has been a faculty member in leading universities in Australia, Mexico, Kazakhstan, and the USA. Dr. Lund’s research on organizational and managerial effectiveness across cultures has been presented worldwide. He is an International Faculty Fellow with MIT’s Sloan School of Management and is a tireless advocate for individual and organizational excellence.
Professor Lund has a PhD in International Human Resource Management from Australia’s Griffith University, an MBA from York University’s Schulich School of Business (Canada), and a BA in Philosophy and English Literature from the University of Victoria (Canada). He serves on advisory boards for industry, government, charity, and higher education worldwide and has led numerous global business consulting projects for more than two decades. Prior to academia, Dr. Lund worked in the North American Film/TV and music industries, along with the Canadian mining, and property development industries.
