GFH’s Humanitarian Documentary Award

GFH joins the Macao China International Digital Cinema Festival

Global Flying Hospitals is in alliance with the Macao China International Digital Cinema Festival, and will present the GFH Humanitarian Documentary Award to the best Documentary Maker. GFH’s selection of the best humanitarian documentary brings a special focus on challenges facing our world.

Neill Newton, chairman and founder of GFH, has been appointed a Vice-Chairman of the festival.

Delegates and participants this year have expanded, with A-Level Hollywood Producers, Directors, Actors, Government, VIPs, and an expected 400+ digital film makers and TV broadcasters.

Television viewing audience will be over 300 million throughout Asia, on CCTV6 and other networks. Media coverage will be strong, from Macau, Hong Kong and the wealthy Pearl River Delta, through to global exposure via the Festival's and partner's websites, social media, press releases and the international media.

Macau is the perfect center for the festival, as it allows for easy access to overseas participants, with visas issued upon arrival. And being the only legal area for gaming in China, it attracts 32 million visitors per annum. The world’s largest casino as the Venetian, and accompanied by the sheer opulence of Wynn, MGM, Galaxy and many others, along with five-star hotels and luxury lifestyle stores underscore Macau, making it the natural choice to grow the Festival into the Digital Cinema showcase of Asia.
