Although first incorporated in the USA in 2001, our Board resolved to establish the Head Office<\/strong> to Macau SAR in 2009, due to a welcoming government, proximity to many developing countries and embracing by superb corporate sponsors, such as Sofitel Luxury Hotels, Venetian<\/em> and MGM<\/em> Casinos … and more.<\/p>\n

The Current Re-invention<\/strong><\/p>\n

  1. We opted to change the focus on acquiring a wide-bodied jet for refurbishment into a flying hospital, which became clear it was simply unsuitable for access into remote\u00a0 runways, let alone the mammoth task of recruitment of volunteer medical professionals, visas, accommodation and more.<\/li>\n
  2. Our Board is peopled by aviation professionals, helping us identify and choose tough cargo jets, built for alternate landing zones and ferrying mobile clinics and equipment.<\/li>\n
  3. We’ve opted to supply Mobile Medical Clinics<\/span> (outfitted for various specialisms as dental, ophthalmology, surgical, women’s health etc), plus emergency shelters, sanitation, and water purification products.\u00a0 We supply these to medical professionals, governments, medical charities and others in developing countries.<\/li>\n
  4. The covid “lockdowns” caused the loss of funding from our sponsors and donors!<\/li>\n
  5. So, during this time we resolved to totally re-invent<\/strong>, not simply fine-tune or change aircraft models.\u00a0 In this new world it’s no longer safe to have all-the-eggs-in-one-basket, due to future lockdowns, government restrictions, red tape, fundraising challenges and staff recruitment etc.<\/li>\n
  6. 2024\/5 will see the commitment of growing our Head Office in Macau<\/strong>.\u00a0 Administration, funds depository, disbursements, global marketing, publication of the GFH glossy magazine (The Humanitarian<\/em>), IT, and all back-office work will base there.\u00a0 We are focused on building GFH into a world-reowned highly-professional organisation,<\/span> providing medical care for those in need.<\/li>\n
  7. 2024\/5 will also see the Manufacturing Plant<\/strong> (for the 21st Century mobile clinics and products) established in Phnom Penh, Cambodia<\/strong>.\u00a0 This is now the fastest growing SE Asian country, with a new forward-thinking\"\"<\/a> government, it’s forward thrust into a FinTech country and massive investment from Japan, Malaysia and China.<\/li>\n
  8. We’ve incorporated a Cairns; Australia<\/strong> hub to service Sth. Pacific island countries, Papua New Guinea and other surrounding countries in need.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    So now; Global Flying Hospitals will bewider, more global, stronger, with a clear-vision of reaching <\/em>and helping many people in need; in multiple developing countries!<\/em><\/p>\n
